Not sure what is the right shoe size for you?
The following instructions will help you choose.
- Take a piece of paper and a pen or pencil
- Stand with your heels against the wall
- Stand upright, placing your weight on both feet
- Get someone else to draw a line be the tip of your toe
- Measure the length from the wall to the line
- Add 3-5 mm to the measured length (important for toe space)
- Compare the foot length with size chart
Sizing Tips
- If you are prone to blisters and calluses or if your foot falls asleep or cramps during activity, this could be a sign that your shoes are too small.
- Don’t be afraid to go a half-size up! Most people buying athletic footwear will size a half size to a full size up from their dress shoes.
- If your heel is slipping, try to lace the shoes differently or try a different insole before sizing down.
- If you have problems with bunions or circulation, try a wider size to reduce irritation.
- It is not uncommon for your feet to be different sizes; make sure the larger foot has enough room in the toe box.
- Not everyone’s “BIG TOE” is the longest; make sure the longest toe is not touching the end of the shoe or cramped.
- If you are fitting a child, you may want to buy a slightly larger size to allow room to grow.
While Wearing Your Shoes
- Tap your heel back into the shoe, ensuring your heel is as far back in the shoe as possible.
- Have someone use their thumb and push down on the end of the shoe.
- You should have a half-thumb width from the end of your toe to the end of the shoes
